At 10:30 on Monday 2 September 2024, MeteoLux has issued a yellow weather warning for later in the day across the entire Grand Duchy.

The weather alert is for between 11:00 and 19:00, during which time they warn of localised thunderstorms, with rain of between 15 and 30 l/m2.

Residents were also warned of hail which could also be a possibility.
