The Grand Ducal Police have reported a serious road traffic accident took place on Friday 30 August 2024 on the N22 between Useldingen and Everlingen.
The accident happened at around 19:30; according to initial information, the driver lost control of their vehicle on a right-hand bend and crashed head-on into two oncoming cars. The occupants of the vehicle were taken to hospital with serious injuries, and one person is reported to be in critical condition.
The cars involved in the accident were confiscated on the orders of the Diekirch public prosecutor's office in order for a forensic examination to be undertaken.
