The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a violent theft occurred in Luxembourg-Gare on Thursday 24 July 2025.
On Thursday afternoon, the police received a report of a robbery on Rue du Fort Neipperg in the capital's train station district.
According to initial information, the perpetrator threw the victim to the ground and stole their handbag. The suspect then fled the scene with an accomplice.
The police launched an immediate manhunt, which proved unsuccessful. An investigation is ongoing.
