In the afternoon on Friday 2 August 2024, Luxembourg's weather portal MeteoLux issued a weather warning for storms and heavy rainfall in the north.
A yellow ("potential danger") alert is in place for the Grand Duchy's northern region from 13:00 on until 20:00 on Friday.
Continuous rain is expected with a cumulative total of between 15 and 30 l/m² over a short period of time.
