The Grand Ducal Police have confirmed that a suspected drug dealer was arrested in the Luxembourg-Gare district, in the evening on Tuesday 30 July 2024.
At around 19:00 on Tuesday, a police patrol stopped a man on the pedestrian footbridge at the main railway station in Luxembourg-Gare, who was suspected of being a drug dealer. During the check, the suspect admitted that he had swallowed several packets of cocaine and heroin. The public prosecutor's office ordered his arrest and a scanner examination, during which over 25 foreign objects were found in the suspect's body, the police noted. He was brought before the examining magistrate on the morning of Wednesday 31 July 2024.
