Roof fire in Beaufort;

The CSU-112 emergency call centre has reported that the emergency services responded to a roof fire, as well as various incidents related to bad weather, on Monday 15 April 2024.
As reported just before 05:00 on Tuesday 16 April 2024, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) had carried out eighteen weather-related interventions and the National Roads Administration had carried out 27 interventions.
MeteoLux had issued a nationwide "yellow" (potential danger) warning for strong winds on Monday afternoon and evening.
In addition, firefighters put out a roof fire in Beaufort on Monday evening. The roof of a single-family home on Rue du Château had caught fire around 20:00. Nobody was injured in the blaze.
