On Wednesday 6 March 2024, the Grand Ducal Police confirmed that they arrested a suspected stalker in Esch-sur-Alzette.
On the evening of Wednesday 5 March 2024, a man was reported to be stalking his ex-girlfriend.
Several police operations had already taken place in this context in the past. A police patrol was able to confront the man at the victim's home.
The suspect was arrested by order of the public prosecutor's office. A small amount of hashish was also seized during a body search, which meant that the suspect was in breach of his court orders. A report was drawn up in this regard.
