The Grand Ducal Police have reported that, following an intervention related to a house fire, the body of a woman was found in a house in Dudelange on the afternoon of Wednesday 24 January 2024.
On Wednesday at around 12:50, it was reported that smoke was emanating from a single-family home on Rue Gaffelt in Dudelange. The emergency services found an 86-year-old resident who had passed away.
The public prosecutor requested an autopsy. The forensic police department was involved in the investigation on-site to determine the cause of the fire.
