On Saturday 23 December 2023, the Grand Ducal Police confirmed that, in the early hours of the morning, a person was fatally injured following a brawl in the Champs Elysées café/nightclub in Pétange.
The incident happened shortly before 03:00. In order to to establish the facts of what happened, the police have appealed to those present to contact them to make statements and provide video recordings and photographs that were taken during the evening, by email: spj.ip-info@police.etat.lu (Judicial Police Department, Offenses against Persons section).
