The Grand Ducal Police have reported a case of road rage that happened in the early hours of Friday 25 August 2023 on the A7 motorway.
It is understood that there was an altercation between two motorists who had been travelling north. According to initial information, the victim was harassed by another driver. Both vehicles stopped at the Mersch exit and a verbal argument ensued, during which the victim was sprayed with pepper spray. Both parties then continued their journey.
The police were alerted and the driver of the second car was located by a police patrol. A search of the vehicle later found the pepper spray which is illegal to carry in Luxembourg.
