This coming Monday, 23 January 2023, POST Luxembourg will move from its temporary facility at 20 rue de Reims to its new building at 38 Place de la Gare.

This new building has completely replaced the old one at the same site; it moved temporarily a block away from the train station for a few years while this building was constructed and fitted out.

The Espace POST Luxembourg-Gare will offer all point-of-sale services from the new building which has a total floor area of more than 400 m2: these include Telecom, Mail and Finance, as well as a "self-service" area (for stamps, etc.) and Quick-service counters and advice boxes which all form part of the modern, user-friendly and easily accessible concept.

The current (temporary) premises at 20 Rue de Reims will definitively close later today, Friday 20 January 2023, at 18:00, with the move to be done over the week-end. During the moving period, on Saturday 21 January 2023, POST services and products will be unavailable at Luxembourg-Gare, but will remain available in the Espace POST Luxembourg-Centre at 12A rue Aldringen and other locations.

The building at 20 rue de Reims will then be refitted for use by the Office of Publications of the European Communities which has been located for many years around the corner at 2 Rue Mercier. That move is expected to happen later this year, understood to be over the summer.
