Yellow Warning Issued for Wind on Friday Afternoon, Floods on Saturday

Luxembourg's weather portal, MeteoLux, has issued a new nationwide yellow weather warning in relation to strong winds for the afternoon of Friday 13 January 2023.

This yellow warning (representing "potential danger") is in place across the Grand Duchy from 14:00 until 18:00 on Friday.

During this time, strong wind with gusts between 65 and 75 km/h, accompanied by moderate rain showers, is expected across the country.

MeteoLux later shared that the Water Management Authority had issued a nationwide flood warning for Saturday 14 January 2023, from 07:00 until midnight. Further information is available on the website www.inondations.lu.
