The Grand Ducal Police has confirmed that a man was arrested on Thursday 20 October 2022 in Ettelbruck for dealing in illegal drugs.
During a vehicle patrol in Ettelbruck at around 18:20, the police became aware of two people who were in the process of of consuming drugs.
Both men were taken to the police station and subjected to a body search. Based on the findings, the public prosecutor ordered a house search at the residential address of one of the two people. Among other things, 100 grams of hashish, 28 grams of marijuana, various drug paraphernalia and a large sum of cash, several knives and a mobile phone were confiscated.
The man was arrested by order of the public prosecutor's office and brought before the coroner on Friday morning, who ordered the man into custody. The second man was logged.
