Yellow Ozone, Heat Warnings Issued for Tuesday & Wednesday

Luxembourg's weather portal, MeteoLux, has issued yellow weather warnings in relation to high temperatures in southern Luxembourg and ozone levels across the country for Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 August 2022.

As announced previously, a yellow heat warning, which indicates "potential danger", is currently in place in the south of the country on Tuesday from 13:00 to 19:00.

Another yellow heat warning will be put in place in southern Luxembourg on Wednesday between 13:00 and 19:00.

On both days, maximum temperatures are expected to reach between 30°C and 32°C.

In addition, MeteoLux has issued a nationwide yellow ozone level warning for both Tuesday and Wednesday between midday and midnight, with ozone levels in the air possibly exceeding the pre-information threshold of 160 µg/m3.
