Luxembourg's Ministry of Mobility and Public Works has announced a ban on drones in various parts of the country on three separate dates as part of national day preparations and celebrations.

Drones will be banned in the following airspaces on the following dates:

  • On Thursday 16 June 2022 for a period of three hours in the control zone (CTR) of Luxembourg Airport and in the "North" airspace;
  • On Wednesday 22 June 2022 from 14:00 in the "City" airspace in Luxembourg City centre;
  • On Thursday 23 June 2022 between 11:00 and 14:00 in the CTR Luxembourg Airport and in the "North" airspace, as well as from 14:00 in the "City" airspace in Luxembourg City centre.
