The General Secretariat of Luxembourg's Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and the Integration Department of the Ministry of Family Affairs, Integration and the Greater Region have announced that they are jointly launching a call for projects related to asylum, migration and integration.

This call for projects is aimed at private non-profit organisations and bodies, public establishments and professional chambers and aims to finance projects around two areas of intervention: the Common European Asylum System (project(s) for the development of information, orientation, training for pregnant women and parents; mental health prevention / awareness / reinforcement project(s) through leisure activities) and legal migration and integration (promotion of exchanges and dialogue between the target public and the host society and awareness-raising actions; design and implementation of a cultural awareness training cycle, i.e. capacity building).

The call provides for the funding of projects with a maximum overall budget of €1,500,000:

- project(s) for the development of information, guidance, training for pregnant women and parents (€250,000);
- project(s) for prevention / awareness / reinforcement of mental health through leisure activities (€250,000);
- promotion of exchanges and dialogue between the target public and the host society and awareness-raising actions (€600,000)
- capacity building: design and implementation of a cultural awareness training cycle (€400,000)

The projects carried out will be eligible between 1 January 2023 and 31 December 2024. However, the start and end dates of eligibility specific to the projects will be fixed in the bilateral agreement.

The deadline for submitting project funding requests is 9 September 2022. The selection session for co-funding requests will take place in November. Two information sessions on the call for projects will be organised in hybrid mode on 17 June at 10:00 and on 13 July at 15:00. Organisations, private bodies, public establishments, professional chambers and training institutes / research centres are requested to confirm their participation (indicating the session in which they wish to participate) via email: amif@mae.etat.lu
