On Friday 29 April 2022, a traffic accident involving material damage between a cyclist and a car occurred at the junction of Rue Robert Krieps and Rue Waassertrap in Belvaux, Sanem, just before 08:00.
Rue Robert Krieps is open to one-way traffic for cars but shares a cycle path in the opposite direction.
Many pedestrians, including children on their way to Kanner Campus Belval school and Lycée Bel-Val, were nearby.
The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (Corps grand-ducal d'incendie et de secours - CGDIS) and police were on site shortly.
The cyclist, an adult male, was treated for injuries at the scene of the accident. Police officers were on site quickly to record the accident.
