On Thursday 24 February 2022, Luxembourg's Ministry of Health announced that Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health, Paulette Lenert, has tested positive for COVID-19.
Minister Lenert, who is fully vaccinated and has received a booster dose as well, tested positive for the virus following a PCR test.
The Health Minister will continue to perform her duties and functions via teleworking.
According to the Health Ministry, she is currently displaying mild symptoms and is self-isolating at home.
