On Saturday 5 February 2022, the Grand Ducal Police were present in Luxembourg city in order to supervise, on the one hand the two officially authorised demonstrations in the zoning planned between the Glacis and the Place de l'Europe and on the other hand, to be able to intervene in the event of unauthorised gatherings and in the event of public order disturbances.

From 13:30, the first demonstrators gathered at the Glacis field.

Around 14:45, a procession of around 150 people, supervised by the police, moved from the Glacis field through the zoning to Place de l'Europe, where it arrived around 15:15. Around 16:10, demonstrators headed back to the Glacis, where the protest began to dissolve around 17:15.

During trips through the zoning, the Schuman roundabout and the Schuman / J.F. Kennedy boulevards were temporarily not accessible to traffic.

The two demonstrations took place peacefully and without particular incidents. No other gathering was observed this Saturday in Luxembourg.
