The Grand Ducale Police have confirmed that a woman has died following an accident on the A3 motorway on Wednesday 23 June 2021.
At around 16:00 on Wednesday, a fatal traffic accident occurred on the A3 between the Livange slip road and the Croix de Bettembourg in the direction of France.
According to police reports, a woman was sitting in a car that had broken down when she was hit by another car. The woman, who lived in France, died at the scene of the accident. The reasons for the collision remain unclear.
The public prosecutor commissioned the criminal police to clarify the cause of the accident.
