The Grand Ducal Police have reported that, during the past week, they carried out around 224 checks across Luxembourg to ensure compliance with the legal provisions against the spread of COVID-19.

Police officers carried out around 140 checks relating to the curfew which, until Sunday 13 June 2021, was in place between 00:00 and 06:00.

A total of 78 people received fines, 72 of whom were found to have broken the curfew.

In three cases, police officers drew up a protocol or report for the responsible authorities.
