The Grand Ducal Police have reported that on Friday 7 May 2021, a pedestrian was mugged on the passenger bridge linking Luxembourg-Gare and Bonnevoie.
The incident appened at aroun 19:15 as the victim was attacked by three people who ripped sunglasses and headphones from the victim wo suffered minor injuries in the incident.
The police were alerted immediately and they started to search for the perpetrators. A person who matched the description of one of the perpetrators was found a short while later. The stolen headphones were found during a subsequent control; on the orders of the public prosecutor's office, the man was arrested and brought before the examining magistrate on Saturday morning.
