On Tuesday 30 March 2021, the "Delta Haus" project was inaugurated in Luxembourg-Gare: three houses, located at 74, 76 and 78 rue Adolphe Fischer, had been completely renovated into 23 social housing apartments at a total budget of €2,380,534.60 (fees and taxes included).

Formerly united to accommodate a hotel (Hotel Delta), these buildings now house furnished rooms intended for social rental (management provided by the Housing Department of the Ville de Luxembourg). After renovation, the complex of buildings includes 23 apartments spread over 4 floors, each of which can accommodate 1 to 4 people depending on the different configurations. In total, the furnished rooms can accommodate up to 32 people.

On the ground floor are two dwellings, two fully equipped kitchens with common dining rooms, offices and meeting rooms for management staff, a dressing room for the concierge, sanitary facilities and a common laundry room for the inhabitants. Floors 1, 2 and 3 have a total of 21 apartments.

Renovations

The facades have been preserved, with the exception of the ground floor of building 74 which has been embellished with a new set of steel frames, adding a contemporary aspect while integrating with the traditional houses of the district. The exterior wooden joinery has been partially replaced, while respecting the aesthetics of the original buildings. A ventilation system has been added, while all technical installations still in working order have been preserved.
Sanitary facilities have been completely renewed.
