The Integration Department of Luxembourg's Ministry of Family Affairs, Integration and the Greater Region has launched a call for projects promoting integration in the Grand Duchy for the year 2021.
The call forms part of the implementation strategy of the National Action Plan for Integration (Plan d'action national d'intégration - PAN intégration) and is structured around two areas:
- Diversity and the fight against discrimination: projects aimed at preventing and fighting against discrimination. Particular emphasis is placed on projects aimed at and involving young people directly, ensuring a social and cultural mix, particularly projects promoting intercultural dialogue, diversity and the fight against prejudices and stereotypes adn projects aimed at creating a debate and reflection around diversity and the fight against discrimination. Pilot projects developing tools, especially digital tools, in terms of information, prevention and awareness of discriminatory phenomena are also sought.
- Language learning and practice: projects aimed at promoting integration through language learning and practice activities. Particular emphasis is placed on projects promoting the promotion and discovery of culture and heritage, such as those promoting innovative approaches to learning and practising the main languages of Luxembourg, particularly the Luxembourgish language, and innovative projects at the local and / or regional level promoting participation and intercultural exchanges.
The call provides for the funding of €25,000 per project.
Two online information sessions will be organised on Friday 20 November at 10:00 and Wednesday 25 November 2020 at 15:00. Associations, private bodies, public establishments, professional chambers and training institutes / research centers are requested to confirm their participation via email: pan@integration.etat.lu, indicating which session they would like to attend.
