Luxembourg's Ministry for Digitalisation and the Government IT Centre have announced a new milestone for MyGuichet.lu, through which more than 1,300,000 administrative procedures were submitted within nine months.
From 1 January to 31 September 2020, MyGuichet.lu exceeded the threshold of 1,300,000 administrative procedures transmitted to ministries and state administrations. This new record represents more than three times the figure recorded during the same period in 2019.
The Digitalisation Ministry and IT Centre have attributed this result to procedures put online in the context of the COVID-19 health crisis. Theses included requests for large-scale COVID-19 screening appointments and requests for a COVID-19 tests for those travelling abroad. The possibility of making an appointment through MyGuichet.lu is a feature that the Government IT Centre implemented in 2019.
There was also a 17% increase in procedures not related to the health crisis, for which the total number was around 430,000 at the end of September.
