The Grand Ducal Police have reported two incidents of physical assault which occurred on Saturday evening in Luxembourg City and Esch-sur-Alzette respectively.

The first incident took place around 21:00 in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie, where a pedestrian was assaulted by three people at a bus stop. The victim was allegedly punched in the stomach and hit with a bottle before being forced to open his backpack and hand over his wallet and other valuables. The perpetrators then fled with the man's belongings in the direction of Rue du Verger.

A second attack took place at the train station in Esch-sur-Alzette around 22:30, when an unknown suspect threatened an individual with a knife, punched him in the face and took money from his pocket. The perpetrator reportedly fled via the bus station in the direction of Neiduerf.
