The Grand Ducal Police have reported further violations of COVID-19-related rules in Luxembourg.

In the week from 7 to 13 September 2020, police detected several violations. In addition to individuals who did not comply with the regulations, there were also several cafes or bars that either did not comply with the midnight curfew or with other legal requirements aimed at containing the spread of coronavirus.

In one such case, police found 50 people dancing whilst breaking the applicable hygiene regulations in a café in Belvaux on Saturday. A report was submitted to the relevant authorities.

In another case, a private party in Niederkorn had to be shut down on Sunday, because there were more people present than allowed and they failed to observe the hygiene regulations in force. All those present received fines.
