The Grand Ducal Police has reported that a serious traffic accident occurred on the A4 motorway in Luxembourg on Thursday afternoon.
Around 12:20 on Thursday, a car was entering the motorway near Foetz when it collided with a tow vehicle. Due to the impact, the car overturned and was thrown against the guardrails of the left lane.
The car driver suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital after receiving first aid at the site of the accident.
The motorway was temporarily closed for rescue work.
