The Grand Ducal Police have reported that serveral garages were on fire in the early hours of Monday 17 August 2020 in Lasauvage.
The alarm was raised at around 06:25, with the emergency services dispatched to the garages on Rue Principale in Lasauvage.
The local fire fighters were quickly on site and were able to bring the fire under control. However, a car parked in one of the garages, as well as several stand-alone garage boxes including their contents, which are not attached to residential buildings, were affected.
Nobpdy was injuredin the fire.
Since an arson cannot be ruled out, the public prosecutor has initiated an investigation into the cause of the fire.
