As per the government's announcement yesterday evening about the phases lockdown exit, the Recycling Centre on the Route d'Arlon will resume its activities from Monday 20 April 2020, subject to compliance with security measures. Likewise, the Hygiene Service of the Ville de Luxembourg will resume the free collection and ordering of gardening waste from 20 April 2020.
• Gardening waste is not accepted, visitors are asked to use free door-to-door collection (appointment to be fixed by contacting tel: 4796-3640 or by email: hygiene@vdl.lu).
• The “Second Hand Shop” remains closed.
• The maximum number of vehicles on site is limited to 12 at any one moment.
• The number of people authorised per unloading vehicle entering the site is limited to 2, if possible 1 person.
• The maximum quantity per day and per vehicle is fixed at 1m3.
• Visitors must respect the protection instructions (distance, no physical contact, etc.).
• The wearing of mouth protection ("Mundschutz") is compulsory throughout the site.
Gardening waste (wooden branches, etc.)
See below for a reminder of the instructions for the removal of gardening waste:
• The weight of filled bags or containers must not exceed 15 kg.
• Branches, shrubs and hedges must be tied up in manageable packages up to 1.50 m in length and up to 15 kg.
• The diameter of the branches must not exceed 10 cm.
