Two additional events in Luxembourg have been postponed over coronavirus fears.
On Friday afternoon, the management of POST Luxembourg and Amicale POST Luxembourg announced their decision to postpone the 25th edition of the Postlaf charity run following the coronavirus risk assessment. The event, initially scheduled for 15 March 2020 at Cloche d'Or, has been postponed to spring 2021.
According to the Postlaf organisers, the registration fees paid by the participants for the 2020 edition will remain valid for the 2021 edition. Registered participants who wish to be reimbursed can do so until 30 April 2020. The reimbursement procedure will be specified from 16 March 2020 on the website www.postlaf.lu.
In addition, the Stand Speak Rise Up! non-profit organisation has announced the postponement of its screening of "Les Hirondelles de Kaboul", which is now scheduled for September 2020. In a statement released earlier today, the association explained that its decision was "due to the risks associated with coronavirus and for everyone's safety", although the Health Directorate has not yet issued any restrictions on gatherings in Luxembourg.
