The snowy weather on Thursday has so far caused various disruptions across Luxembourg.

Earlier this afternoon, the Grand Ducal Police reported that over 25 accidents had taken place on Luxembourg's roads within the space of two hours. Update: the police reported that over 50 accidents had taken place by Thursday evening.

The police, along with the Automobile Club du Luxembourg (ACL), added that accidents and slippery roads had resulted in a number of road closures. A full list is available from https://www.acl.lu/fr-fr/mobilite-et-tourisme/info-trafic-et-services-mobilite/info-trafic#TraficInfo.

In addition, POST Luxembourg has announced a delay in the collection of post from professional customers and from the yellow postboxes scheduled for Thursday due to current weather conditions. Service is expected to resume once the situation on the country's motorways returns to normal, with the remaining post being collected tomorrow. POST has assured that tomorrow's newspaper and post deliveries are expected to continue as normal.

Luxembourg Airport similarly announced that it was expecting various flight delays and cancellations. Further information is available from https://www.lux-airport.lu/passengers-visitors/flights-information/arrivals-departures/.
