MeteoLux has issued a yellow weather warning for all of Luxembourg in relation to snow showers and strong winds.
MeteoLux first issued the warning for snowfall yesterday, before deciding to keep this in place throughout Thursday.
Between 2-4cm of snow is expected to fall this afternoon across the country; 1-2cm of snow is expected this evening. Temperatures are expected to fall to 0-2°C in the north and 1-3°C in the south of the country in the afternoon, before falling to between -1 and 1°C across the Grand Duchy in the evening.
Indeed, snow is expected to continue to fall until early this evening, with the possibility of further snow showers later on.
Strong winds with gusts of up to 80km/h are also expected between 15:00 and 00:00.
No weather warnings have been issued for Friday.
