The Grand Ducal Police have called for witnesses following recent acts of vandalism to public property in Lintgen and Gosseldange in central Luxembourg.

According to police reports, unknown perpetrators sprayed graffiti over the school area "Schoulcampus Lëmbaach" in Lintgen, an underpass in Gosseldange and several playgrounds and benches along the Route de Mersch cycle path in Gosseldange. These incidents reportedly occurred on 29 January and 2 February 2020.

Anyone with information in connection with these acts of vandalism should report to the Mersch police station via tel.: 24490-1000.

The police have recalled that such violations are a criminal offence punishable by between eight days and one year in prison and a fine of €251 to €5,000.
