The Loterie Nationale Luxembourg has announced that a player in the Grand Duchy won Friday's EuroMillions jackpot, amounting to €28,601,720.
The winning scratchcard was validated in Luxembourg following the EuroMillions draw on Friday 24 January 2020. This marks the third time that the EuroMillions jackpot has been won in Luxembourg.
The first Luxembourg win was back in September 2013 when a player won the €65,793,284 jackpot; the second win was in January 2015 with an amount of €31,666,941.
On Friday 7 February 2020, a EuroMillions Super Jackpot of €130 million will be put into play.
