The Luxembourg Army yesterday reviewed its activities and events from the past year at its traditional "Christmas Eve" event, held at the Military Centre in Diekirch,
The event brought together Luxembourg's Minister of Defence, François Bausch, and Minister Delegate for Defence, Henri Kox, as well as many members of the Army, including both military and civilian personnel.
During the ceremony, the Army presented merit awards to successful athletes, the winners of inter-company competitions as well as the winners of the military championships.
The Army also made donations to three associations on this occasion, namely the Fondation du Grand-Duc et de la Grande-Duchesse, Kannerwonsch asbl and Wäertvoll Liewen asbl.
