Grand Ducal Court Warns of Charity Falsifying Endorsement from Hereditary Grand Duke

The Grand Ducal Court has released a statement warning against an alleged charitable foundation's claims to be affiliated with His Royal Highness the Hereditary Grand Duke of Luxembourg.

According to the statement, the Grand Ducal Court received several reports earlier this month of an email announcing a charity event in Luxembourg in April 2020. The email came from the "Jane Joseph Marie Foundation", supposedly in Prince Guillaume's name. The alleged foundation claims to raise funds for a good cause with the support of the Hereditary Grand Duke.

In light of these reports, Prince Guillaume has clarified that he has no connection with this foundation. In addition, the Grand Ducal Court has warned against such fundraising initiatives and will begin the necessary legal proceedings in relation to this scam.
