The Luxembourg Police received reports of gunshots fired in Wiltz early Wednesday morning.

Shortly after midnight on 25 September 2019, residents called the police to report having heard gunshots on Rue de Tondeurs.

Police patrols were dispatched immediately and were able to identify the suspect. Police officers found and confiscated a blank pistol from the suspect's car. 

The suspect was taken into custody and a police report has been filed.
