Next Monday will see the unveiling of a commemorative plaque at the Military Centre in Diekirch in memory of those who died whilst serving in the Luxembourg Army.
This commemorative plaque will be erected on Place du Souvenir (Memorial Square) in front of the Command Centre of the Diekirch Military Centre during an official ceremony on Monday 16 September 2019.
The ceremony will take place in the presence of His Royal Highness the Grand Duke, the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Fernand Etgen, Prime Minister and Minister of State, Xavier Bettel, the Minister of Defence, François Bausch, and the chief of Staff of Luxembourg's Army, General Alain Duschène.
Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, Minister François Bausch and General Alain Duschène will deliver speeches on this occasion of remembrance.
