On Tuesday morning, a construction worker suffered serious injuries following an accident on a construction site in Filsdorf in south-eastern Luxembourg.
The accident occurred just after 14:00 yesterday at a construction site at the junction between "Am klengen Eck" and "Woneschwee" in Filsdorf. A construction worker on the site was seriously injured when he touched an electric cable and received a strong electric shock. The shock caused severe burns on one hand.
An emergency doctor first treated the victim on site before taking him to hospital.
The Inspectorate of Labour and Mines (ITM) was informed of the accident.
