City Savvy Luxembourg has announced the launch of LUX WMN, an English-language, business lifestyle magazine, which will be released in September 2019.

The announcement took place during a sold-out preview panel event held at ING in Luxembourg city centre. The four speakers explained the intention of LUX WMN: to empower women to strive in business and life.

The speakers were co-founder of the "Jobs Today" app, Polina Montano, founder of Prisma S-A and mentor, Carole Miltgen, former Olympian and wellness specialist, Fleur Maxwell and European Parliament candidate, Julia Pitterman. The latter commented: "I truly believe that LUX WMN is exactly the community-building and women empowering initiative that is needed, and like any great vision, all resources should be invested in making sure we achieve our aim of being heard as women in all societies across Europe”.

LUX WMN’s inaugural print issue will be released in September and thereafter on a bi-annual basis. Each edition will be available via subscription and through select distribution channels throughout the Greater region. Only 30% of the 120+ pages publication will be available for advertising to ensure exclusivity for its supporters whilst retaining the editorial integrity of its pages.

Readers can expect fierce content, motivating stories and a stunning design, which aims to appeal to both the C-suite executive leading from their corner office and the aspirational entrepreneur working from home. The magazine will feature women from the national and international landscape with content created by a host of expert writers. LUX WMN will be split into three sections: POWER, featuring interviews with female CEOs at the top of their game and political opinion pieces on national and international news; INSPIRE articles for mentorship and insight; THRIVE, a section dedicated to travel, insider tips for layovers and the style for the modern superwoman.

Amanda Roberts, LUX WMN Publisher, explained: “The idea behind LUX WMN is to inspire women, all women, to follow their dreams, big or small; to feel supported when they face challenges that come their way - when starting a business, operating in the corporate world, or when simply trying to find their place in Luxembourg - and to empower women to take a leap of faith in order to follow those dreams”.

Fellow LUX WMN Publisher Meredith Moss, added: “We want to use this platform to give a voice to the women of Luxembourg, no matter their occupation. We want to empower women and change the narrative around equality and marginalisation. This magazine is only the beginning”.
