The Grand Ducal Police have announced that several burning cars were found on Route d'Esch in Belvaux in the early hours of Monday morning.
At around 03:15 this morning, the police received reports of a burning vehicle in a car park on Route d'Esch - Rue des Champs in Belvaux. Despite the intervention of firefighters, seven vehicles were destroyed by the flames.
Since the police cannot yet rule out arson, the forensics department as well as the Criminal Investigation Department have launched an inquiry. Anyone with information concerning this incident is requested to contact the Differdange police via tel.: 244-531000.
