Minister Jean Asselborn;
Luxembourg's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Citizens has announced that Jean Asselborn, Minister of Immigration and Asylum, will participate in the official opening of two new housing projects designed for asylum-seekers.
On Monday 17 June 2019 at 18:30, Minister Asselborn and the mayor of the Ville d'Esch-sur-Alzette, Georges Mischo, will officiate at a meeting concerning the opening of the "Quai Neiduerf" accommodation, located in the Neudorf and Burgronn area of Esch-sur-Alzette, which will open its doors in the summer of 2019.
On Tuesday 18 June 2019 at 18:00, Minister Asselborn and aldermen from Kopstal will officiate at an information meeting on the opening of the new asylum-seekers' accommodation on rue des Bouleaux in Bridel which is scheduled to open in the summer of 2019.
These events will mark the first public engagements for Minister following his recent hospitalisation following a fall during a previous commitment when he is understood to have injured his back.
