On Monday morning, a 45 year-old construction worker from France died following an electric shock at ArcelorMittal in Differdange. 

The fatal accident happened at 11:00 in Cité Henry Gray in Differdange. The construction worker, who was from a third-party company, was working on an ArcelorMittal power grid when he suffered an electric shock.

The construction worker did not survive the shock and was declared dead at the scene of the accident.

The inspectorate of labour and mines (ITM) and the Luxembourg Police were on site to determine the nature of the accident.
