Following the success of the two previous editions, a new edition of the "Guide for one day" project will take place in Luxembourg from 29 June to 15 September 2019.

Addressing all those who live or work in Luxembourg, the "Guide for one day" initiative allows participants to meet each other in a friendly and informal way and to together discover Luxembourg in all its facets. The project invites all those interested to become a guide during one day to reveal unusual places, lesser known landscapes, sports, leisure activities, curiosities and cultural attractions to others.

As a government project, "Guide for one day" is open to volunteers of all ages, nationalities and backgrounds, who can become ambassadors of Luxembourg and present a different side to the Grand Duchy, in respect of the environment, identities and cultures, in all their wealth and diversity. It is also an opportunity to include and involve all residents in the daily life of the country.

In previous editions, many personalised and free tours in different languages, on foot, hiking, biking or Segway, introduced participants to various neighbourhoods, landscapes, hobbies and passions.

Any resident can propose to lead a visit, if it is driven by the enthusiasm to show Luxembourg from a different angle To learn more about the project and register as a visitor, see the website www.guideforoneday.lu.
