On Friday morning, a fire broke out at a car dealership on the Route de Thionville in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie.
The fire was noticed at around 09:45 in the bodyshop of the Losch garage where spraypainting of bodywork was being undertaken.
One worker received what were described as minor injuries to his arm.
As plumes of thick black and grey smoke could be seen from Luxembourg-gare and other neighbourhoods, the emergency fire brigade services arrived and quickly brought the fire under control, preventing further damage. Traffic along the road was diverted and the road was re-opened 90 minutes later.
The exact cause of the fire was not immediately known.
