On Wednesday evening the police were notified of an incident at a refugee shelter in Weiswampach.

The police received reports around 19:30 in the evening that a refugee shelter in the north of Luxembourg needed assistance. Upon arrival they found a broken window in an uninhabited room and a burned piece of fabric inside. Another window had been graffitied.

No further information has been given by officials but an investigation is reportedly underway and the prosecutor has been informed.
