A fight broke out between eight people at Nospelt's annual Émaischen on Sunday afternoon, culminating in the detention of one individual for aggressive behaviour.
Two men involved were found to be under the influence of alcohol and verbally abusive to the police. After being restrained by the police, one of the individuals managed to free himself and attempted to attack one of the officers and was tackled to the ground.
The man then began to threaten and spit at the officers and stamped on a service phone that had fallen onto the floor during the commotion. The man was subsequently brought to a detention cell.
