Adding to the festive spirit created by Luxembourg City's Christmas markets, ice rink and visit from St. Nicholas, the Ville de Luxembourg and the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) will be holding a sound and light show entitled 'Luxembourg Light Nights' this December.
On 18 and 19 December 2015, to mark the closing of the Luxembourg Presidency of the Council of the EU before it is passed over to the Netherlands, the facades of the court in the Judicial Precinct will be illuminated with bright image projections. Between 18:00 and 23:00 on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 December 2015, this show will be displayed on a loop for residents and visitors of the City to admire at their leisure.
The Ville de Luxembourg and LCTO are also looking for input from the public, with individuals invited to submit colour photographs illustrating the theme of real or symbolic bridges to foto@lcto.lu before 25 November 2015. The best photos will be included in the light show and produced by the creators of the Festival of Lights of Berlin.
Submitted photos should be 1920x1080 pixel and a maximum of 5MB. These photos must not be subject to copyright or any form of promotional or publicity agenda and should be the author's own creation. These photos will be used freely by the Ville de Luxembourg, the LCTO and the Festival of Lights International Productions GmbH.
