A light blue vehicle and the two perpetrators who used it as a getaway vehicle are missing following the bizarre burglary of a home in Hoscheid-Dickt, northern Luxembourg, on the afternoon of Monday 16 November 2015.
At around 16:00 on Monday, Luxembourg police received a call from a resident on Haaptstrooss, who informed the officers that he had just caught burglars in the act of robbing his house. Upon entering the farm, the man noticed that several doors were open and heard voices from inside the rooms. As he went to investigate, two male strangers passed by him, saying 'Sorry, sorry' as they attempted to make good their escape.
The resident began to give chase, throwing flower pots in the direction of the burglars as they fled towards a woman who was waiting for them in a getaway car.
The resident was unable to give extensive information on the appearance of the two perpetrators, but described them both as of Mediterranean descent, and one bald whilst the other had black hair styled with gel.
The car was described to be a light-blue colour, with English license plates and the steering wheel on the right hand side. Any individual with information on the vehicle or the possible identity of the burglars is asked to contact the Troisvierges police department at 2448-7200.
